About me

I am an urban and economic geographer interested in the interaction between urban spatial structure and economic activities. My research explores how industrial networks, public services, and infrastructures shape urban equity, innovation, and resilience.

Methodologically, I combine spatial econometrics, network analysis, and multi-source big data (such as POIs, human mobility, and remote sensing) to understand the dynamics of urban transformation.

Research Interests

  • Economic geography & industrial space: location patterns of knowledge-intensive industries, innovation networks, spatial clustering and dispersion.
  • Urban space & public services: accessibility and equity of green spaces, parks, education, and healthcare facilities.
  • Urban resilience & governance: environmental exposure, infrastructure distribution, and spatial inequalities.

Opportunities & Collaboration

Students

  • I am currently recruiting Master’s students in Planning for the 2026 cohort, including both professional and academic tracks.
  • For the 2027 cohort, I am recruiting Master’s students in Planning and professional Master’s students in Design.
  • I expect to begin recruiting PhD students in 2028.

Collaboration

  • I welcome interdisciplinary collaboration with colleagues in computer science, economics, geography, and urban planning.
  • Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in working together.
